Life Outdoors was launched in 2019 as a collective brand for the products and services offered by The Lapa Company UK Ltd. The Lapa Company UK Ltd was created in 2005 with the aim of marketing traditional African Lapa buildings. Since then the business has grown from a small box room to a company employing 20+ staff and operating in all aspects of Premium Outdoor Living.
We operate at the premium end of the market and now distribute some of the most respected brands in the UK. These include Fire Magic, American Fyre Designs and Cubic Outdoor kitchens; in addition to our ranges of traditional timber buildings, which our highly-skilled carpenters still crafted by hand today.
To support these products we have also developed a full Landscaping division that offers both Landscaping services and Garden Design services. We are BALI approved landscape contractors, which means our customers are guaranteed the quality of our products and services.

As our company has grown so has our passion to create amazing outdoor spaces, so throughout the years, we have incorporated other brands into our unique outdoor living portfolio.
Becoming distributors for The Lapa Company, Fire Magic and Outdoor Kitchens allows us to offer a premium range of products, with exceptional quality.
For peace of mind, even though each brand offers its own unique products and services to suit our wide range of customers, they are all run and supported by the same specially trained, passionate staff members.
In 2016 we launched our Landscaping Services with offers our customers a range of soft and hard Landscaping Services along with a Garden Design service. Our Landscape Architect, Neil heads up the team after gaining many years of experience in both the private and public sector.
The workshop and showroom
Our head office is set within the Orchard Place Business Centre in Borough Green, Sevenoaks and is also home to our warehouse, workshop, and indoor showroom – the largest outdoor living showroom in Kent.
We have created the perfect, modern outdoor living showroom space for you to browse and be inspired. Featuring a broad range of products in real-life situations, taking into consideration different types of projects, designs and styles, the showroom has a lot to offer.
All of our wooden garden buildings are handcrafted using the highest quality materials by our highly-skilled carpenters in our workshop for private, commercial, corporate and educational use. Previous customers include Edinburgh Zoo, Chessington World of Adventures, Wedding Venues as well as schools and private clients.
