Refer a Friend Terms and Conditions
1. Any new or existing customer of Life Outdoors, Fire Magic UK or The Lapa Company UK who has purchased one of the below:
Fire Magic Gas Grill – no minimum order value
Renson Louvered Structure – no minimum order value
Garden Room – no minimum order value
Premium and or Prestige Gazebo – no minimum order value
can participate in this promotion. Once a customer places a deposit on a qualifying order will receive an email containing their unique referral link which can be shared with friends and family (“Friends”).
2. A referral is validated when the ‘Friend’ pays their deposit on a qualified order (“Successful Referral”). See point 1. for qualifying orders.
3. Friends must use the referral link to make contact by selecting ‘I was referred by a friend on the contact form here. If ordering via phone or chat, it is the responsibility of the customer to declare if they were referred. All referrals must be confirmed during the order process to be valid.
4. Once the friend passes the validation process after making a Qualifying Purchase, an email will be sent to both the referrer and the friend.
5. The standard referral reward for the first 2 referrals is a Fortnum and Manson Hamper with the RRP value of approx. £150. The standard referral reward for referrals 3 through to 5 is a Fortnum and Manson Hamper with the RRP value of approx. £250. The standard referral reward for the 6th referral is a Champney’s Spa Gift Voucher worth approx. £500 RRP. All referral gifts will be issued within 90 days of the ‘friends’ deposit being paid and confirmed.
6. As standard the ‘Friend’ will receive a Bollinger Champagne 75cl & LSA Moya flutes gift box with the RRP value of approx. £100 within 90 days of their deposit being paid and confirmed.
7. You must be a customer of Life Outdoors, Fire Magic UK, or The Lapa Company UK Ltd with the minimum of a deposit payment made to be able to make a referral.
8. Referral rewards are variable. Life Outdoors Group reserves the right to withdraw or change the referral promotion at any time, with or without notice.
9. Rewards can not be exchanged for cash alternatives.
10. You can not refer yourself or anyone else within your household.
11. For every additional referral over your 6th you will receive a £300 Fortnum and Manson Hamper. Life Outdoors has the right to cap referral count at any time.
12. The referrer must check with their friends that they are happy to hear about this promotion before forwarding emails.
13. We’ll withhold rewards if we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity. All decisions made by Life Outdoors Group are final.
14. Life Outdoors Group employees or their families are not eligible for the referral scheme.
15. This offer is not applicable when the Friend is, or has at some previous time, been a customer with Life Outdoors, Fire Magic UK and or The Lapa Company UK Ltd.
16. All gifts are supplied by a third-party supplier. Life Outdoors is not responsible for any delays in shipment, stock issues, or discontinuation of any gifts/rewards/prizes. Where this happens Life Outdoors has the right to change the gift to an alternative that is within 15% of the original value.
17. All gifts will be delivered by a third-party courier selected by the original supplier. Life Outdoors is not responsible for any damage or loss of gifts that occur throughout the delivery process. We will, however, do what we consider reasonable efforts to reinstate the gift at the supplier’s expense.
18. Refer a friend is valid for residential customers only. Business customers are excluded.
19. As a registered referrer, the email address and full name that you supplied at the time of order will be used to identify your referrals.
Qualifying Purchases
1. A ‘qualifying purchase’ is the purchase of a new Fire Magic Gas BBQ, and or a New Renson Louvered Structure, and or a new Premium and or Prestige Gazebo.
2. The validation process requires the referred friend to have paid their deposit for at least 30 days. Life Outdoors reserves the right to verify the eligibility of customers.
3. The Promotion excludes, Charcoal Fire Magic BBQs, Fire Magic Accessories and Components, Classic Gazebos, Tiki Bars, Lapas, clearance and ex-display items. Life Outdoors has the right to amend and extend the exclusion list at any time without notice.
Win a year’s supply of Moet & Chandon Champagne Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the ‘Win a year’s supply of Moet and Chandon Champagne’ prize draw (the “Promotion”). By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:
1. The promotion will be run by The Lapa Company UK Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with registered number 04949894 (“The Lapa Company”, “Life Outdoors”, “we”, or “us”), registered office Fifth Floor Intergen House, 65-67 Western Road, Hove, East Sussex, BN3 2JQ .
2. These terms and conditions are the Promotion rules (“Rules”) that apply to this promotion. By entering this promotion, you are agreeing to be bound by these Rules and any other instructions that are communicated to you. If you do not agree to these Rules, please do not enter the Promotion.
3. These Rules form a legally binding agreement between you and us. We reserve the right to extend, withdraw, alter or suspend the Promotion or these Rules at any time if circumstances beyond our control make this unavoidable.
4. In the event of any dispute regarding any aspect of the Promotion, the decision of Life Outdoors shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into, except with the winner.
How to enter the promotion
5. Entrants must:
a. be aged 18 or over at the date on which they enter the Promotion;
b. be resident in Great Britain and provide a delivery address in Great Britain;
c. have purchased a qualifying product by Life Outdoors, Fire Magic UK or the Lapa Company UK ltd,
d. have made a referral using their referral link which has resulted in a qualifying purchase from their “friend
6. To enter the promotion, you must purchase a qualifying product by Life Outdoors, Fire Magic UK or the Lapa Company UK ltd and successfully refer a “friend” using your unique referral link and your “friend” must make a qualifying purchase by 23:59 on November 18th, 2022 (the “Promotion Period”). A maximum of 10 entries per person is permitted during the promotion period.
7. One successful referral is equivalent to one entry into this promotion.
8. Only customers that have purchased a qualifying product with a successful referral will be entered into the draw unless otherwise specified in writing. No entries received after the closing time will be eligible to win a prize.
9. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by us, the Prize will only be awarded to the entrant responsible for the referral against which a winning entry was registered and the Year’s Supply of Champagne Prize will be delivered to the address registered to that account.
10. Any entrant who attempts to take part in the Promotion in a manner which we deem is contrary to these Rules, may be removed from the Promotion at our sole discretion. No entries from agents, third parties, syndicated entries, or those made using methods such as a computer macro, script or the use of automated devices are permitted and no bulk entries are permitted.
11. By entering the Promotion, you warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. If any information you submit is found to be fraudulent or incorrectly completed or if we have reasonable grounds to believe that you have breached any of the Rules, we reserve the right to disqualify you from the Promotion.
12. By referring a “friend” you are agreeing for your details to be used for the purpose of this promotion. Which includes supplying your details to a third-party supplier in order for the prize to be delivered. If you do not consent for your information to be passed to third-party supplies do not refer a friend.
13. No liability is accepted for entries that are not received by Life Outdoors for any reason. Life Outdoors retains the right to refuse admission of any illegitimate entries.
The Prize
14. There will only be one winner. The winner will be selected at random using an automated computer process from a pool of all eligible entrants who meet the requirements set out above. There is a minimum requirement of 10 individual entrants required to run this promotion. If the minimum is not met Life Outdoors has the right to withdraw the promotion.
15. The first eligible winner selected by the automated computer process will win the Year’s Supply of Moet and Chandon Champagne prize (as
defined below).
16. Year’s supply of Moet and Chandon champagne prize:
a. The winner of the year’s supply of Moet and Chandon Champagne will receive 2 x Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial Champagne Case 6x75cl (the “Year’s Supply of Wine Prize”) in one delivery.
b. the winner will be contacted by Life Outdoors to arrange delivery of champagne
17. The winner will be notified by January 18th 2023.
18. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not make contact with Life Outdoors (as applicable) to accept their prize within 5 business days of Life Outdoors attempting to notify the customer, we are unable to verify a winner’s eligibility to win a prize or a winner is not eligible to win a prize, another winner will be selected and the prize will be forfeited by the original winner
19. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable other than at the sole discretion of Life Outdoors and there is no cash alternative. However, we may change any Prize due to circumstances beyond our control or to offer an alternative of similar value.
20. If you are a winner:
a. it is your responsibility to pay all costs and expenses not included within the prize,including any applicable taxes;
b. a prize will not be awarded to you if to do so would be unlawful; and
c. we may verify your eligibility and check your identity. If you are asked for proof of your identity and/or your eligibility, your failure to provide such proof within a reasonable time could result in your disqualification from the Promotion or the withdrawal of any prize.
21. Life Outdoors in its sole discretion reserves the right to withdraw or vary the terms of the Promotion in order to comply with the decision of any relevant judicial or regulatory body and shall not be held liable to any entrant for so doing.
